250 gms fish fillets

½ tbsp ajwain

25 ml cream

1 tsp cumin powder

1 tbsp garlic paste

2 tbsp chilli powder

10 gms besan flour

¼ tsp chaat masala

1 tsp lemon juice

½ tsp garam masala powder

1 onion (sliced into rings)

60 gms plain yoghurt

Salt and white pepper to taste

75 ml Noor Oil



Fish tikka can be served as tasty, soft and crunchy starters and are great as accompaniments to a meal or as short eats by itself.

Steps Involved:

Combine garlic paste, ajwain, chilli powder, cumin powder, besan flour, garam masala, chaat masala, lemon juice, white pepper, cream and salt with yoghurt to prepare a marinade for the fish.

Marinate the fish in the above mixture, set aside for about 1 hour.

Heat Noor Oil in a pan, fry fish pieces till crisp and golden brown.

Serve hot and crispy with onion rings and mint chutney.
