Ingredients

500 grams flour

1 egg

1 ½ tbsp sugar

1 ½ tbsp dried milk

1 tbsp dry active yeast

½ tbsp salt

1 cup  Noor Oil

Warm water (as needed)

½ cup  zaatar

¼ cup  Noor Oil

Preparation

Introduction:

Bread rolls are revamped with a delicious Zaatar mix in this recipe. Delicious and filling – perfect for your child’s lunch box or as a light dinner!

Steps Involved:

In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, yeast and dried milk.

Add egg and Noor Oil. Mix well until dough forms.

If too dry, add warm water.

Kneed and roll into a ball. Cover with wet towel and set aside for 1 hour until dough rises.

Preheat oven and prepare baking sheet by brushing it with Noor Oil

Mix ½ zaatar with ¼ cup Noor Oil until paste-like consistency

Form uniform balls from the dough. On a floured surface, slightly roll out each ball, stuff with ½ teaspoon for zaatar mixture and carefully form into a ball. Arrange on baking dish. Add small amount of zaatar mix to top of each ball.

Bake until golden, for around 15-20 minutes.
