Ingredients

2 cups yoghurt

1 tsp sugar

1 cup boondi

½ tsp chopped mint leaves

1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

½ tsp roasted jeera powder

¼ tsp garam masala powder

¼ tsp black pepper powder

¼ tsp red chilli powder

¼ tsp paprika (to sprinkle on top)

Salt to taste

Preparation

Introduction:

Raitha is a very refreshing add-on to any meal. It particularly goes well when served chilled with biryani. 

Steps Involved:

Beat yoghurt and sugar, removing all lumps in the yoghurt. Combine boondi, mint and coriander leaves and mix well with the beaten yoghurt. 

Add jeera powder, garam masala, black pepper powder and chilli powder to the above mixture. Add salt and adjust seasonings to your preference. Sprinkle with paprika on top of the raitha as a garnish, prior to serving.
