1 lbs  chicken breast (cut into cubes)

2-3 colored capsicum (red, orange, yellow)

10 -12 button mushrooms

10 -15 cherry tomatoes

2-3 cloves garlic (chopped)

2 tbsp Dijon mustard

2 tbsp  honey

½ lemon (juiced)

½ tsp  salt

Fresh ground pepper

Bamboo Skewers

¼ cup  Noor Oil (also for grilling)



Succulent and spiced chicken kebabs that are excellent starters, which goes well as the choicest item on the dining table.

Steps Involved:

Soak the bamboo skewers in water until ready to use.

Place the chicken cubes into a medium sized bowl.

Use garlic, mustard, honey, and lemon juice, 2 tablespoon of Noor Oil, salt and pepper to prepare a marinade. Mix well with chicken and keep aside in a refrigerator.

Chop mushroom, capsicum and tomatoes into medium sized pieces, toss with 2 tablespoon Noor Oil, salt and pepper, and keep aside.

Preheat grill to a medium high temperature (or set the broiler to a high temperature)

Start alternating chicken pieces and different colored vegetables on the bamboo skewers. Place skewers in the hot grill and cook for 5 – 7 minutes on each side, basting with Noor Oil to ensure even cooking.


Serve best hot with yoghurt based dips and ketchup.
