2 medium onion (chopped)

3 bunch parsley

3 medium  tomatoes (chopped)

½ bunch mint

¾ cup bulgur

Salt to taste

½ cup lemon juice (to taste)

¼ cup Olive oil



A fresh tasting traditional Levantine salad which is a must with any barbeque. 

Steps Involved:

Wash parsley and mint well under running water; remove any yellow or dried leaves. Chop mint and parsley leaves fine and keep aside.

Finely chop onion and tomatoes, combine the chopped mint and parsley with the chopped onion and tomatoes.

Wash bulgur well and put it aside in a colander to drain water.

Put the bulgur in the bowl you wish to serve Tabooleh, pour lemon juice on bulgur and leave it for a couple of minutes.

In the bowl with bulgur, combine the chopped onions, tomato, mint and parsley and mix well together.

Add salt and olive oil and mix again.

Tabooleh is now ready to serve. Bon appétit!
