1 bell pepper – green, orange, red each (cubed)

1 bunch lettuce (chopped)

3 tomatoes (chopped medium size)

3 cucumbers (chopped medium pieces)

5 bunch spring onions (chopped)

1 onion (chopped)

½ bunch green mint (chopped)

1 loaf bread (for croutons)

½ cup of lemon juice (to taste)

¼ cup olive oil (to taste)

1 tbsp sumac

Salt to taste

You can add Sour pomegranate molasses (optional)



Enjoy this Levantine bread salad with an assortment of vegetables and herbs.

Steps Involved:

Add all cut ingredients together in a big bowl and mix well. Pour olive oil, lemon juice, season with salt, sumac and mix again.

Top the salad with bread croutons and some pomegranate. Fatoosh is now ready to be served.
