½ tsp  ginger, grated

1 tbsp  garlic, chopped

½ cup light-sodium soy sauce

½ cup  water

¾ cup dark brown sugar

1 pound  good steak, cut into strips

A dash of corn starch

4 spring onions

Noor Oil for frying



This is a great recipe that can be enjoyed by the entire family. Served with fried rice or steamed, it’s a delicious meal that will have you craving more.

Steps Involved:

Lightly coat beef with corn starch and set aside.

In a sauce pan, heat Noor Oil.

Fry garlic and ginger until soft but not brown.

Add beef strips and cook until brown.

Add sliced spring onions, soy sauce, water, sugar. Keep mixing until sugar is dissolved.

Keep on low heat until sauce thickens and beef is cooked through.
