½ kg lamb cubes

2 onions (chopped)

½ cup  cilantro (chopped)

½ cup parsley (chopped)

5 tomatoes (chopped)

¾ cup green lentils

1 can chick peas (drained)

Handful of Raisins (optional)

¼ tsp paprika (powder)

½ tsp  ginger (chopped)

1 tbsp  tomato paste

1 tsp  black pepper powder

1 tsp cinnamon powder

1 tsp  turmeric powder

1 vegetable stock cube

½ tsp  ground chilli (optional)

1 tbsp flour (for thickening)

An amazing Moroccan creation, well known for its use of spices and sweet additions, this soup though rich and spicy, will satisfy most taste buds. The sensational tastes will tantalize and delight your palate.

Steps Involved:

In a deep soup pan, pour some Noor Oil and add meat along with finely chopped onions, cilantro, parsley and tomatoes. Toss these vegetables around until they start cooking; now add the remaining ingredients except for the spice powders.

Pour water into the pan and let the contents simmer; cooking it covered.

As the vegetable mixture starts to boil, add all the spice powders with some salt to season. Continue simmering for a while and check if the meat and lentils are well cooked and soft.

Mix some flour with little water and add the mixture to the boiling soup to thicken it.
