How to de-stress in 15 minutes

As women, we juggle many roles and it can be quite challenging at times. Here are a few things you can do to de-stress when things get a little crazy – all in just 15 minutes!

  • Take a bubble bath – this is tried and tested, never fails!
  • Listen to some feel -good music, move your favourites into your music player, while listening to them you get to cut off yourself from the rest of the world and be at peace.
  • Place two slices of cold cucumber over your eyes and sip a long cool drink (Iced tea is great!).
  • Buy a bunch of flowers in your favourite colours and place them somewhere you can see them often. An occasional glance at these beautiful creations, will make you feel great.
  • Light a few scented candles.
  • Bake something – it’s quite therapeutic.
  • Sit on a comfy chair and read a few pages of your favourite magazine, a book you have been reading or even the newspaper (just stay away from the current news section!).
  •  Lastly, make those 15 precious minutes count!
